Travel back in time to the early 19th century, with a half-day of activities themed around Homewood Museum’s winter focus show, On the Road: Travel and Transportation in Early Maryland.
Take your family, friends, or sweetheart on a horse-drawn carriage ride and imagine life in Baltimore before the automobile. Inside the museum, tour the exhibition and join early American music performer David Hildebrand in Homewood's "tavern" for a sing-a-long of spirited tunes. Play cards, dominoes and other period games, read historic newspapers and maps, meet new friends, and enjoy traditional beverages and snacks. (Postponed from Sunday, February 14 due to snow. Original carriage ride reservations honored.)
